Our Team

My name is Angie McGriffin and I was born and raised here in the town of Valparaiso, IN. I have 1 sister and 2 brothers. My mother was born and raised in Valparaiso, IN and my dad came over from Germany when he was 12 years old. I went to elementary school at Memorial Elementary, Middle school at Ben Franklin and Valparaiso High School in which I graduated in 1983 with a Business Major. I played soccer and volley ball during my school days and participated in school plays and ball room dancing. After I graduated high school, I worked at Wendy’s until I moved to LaPorte, IN with my fiancé. I got married in 1989 and had 2 beautiful girls Ashley and Stacy. We moved back to Valparaiso, IN and I was a stay at home mom for 15 years. I went back to work at a vegetable stand in Kouts, IN for the summers. Then proceeded to work at Michaels in 2004 for a week before my aunt came to my house and told me about Orthopedic Therapy Specialists where she was having therapy. She informed me that Arlan was looking for help for the front desk. That next day I had an interview and Arlan decided to give me a chance and hire me. I have been working at OBTS for 12 years as of September 16, 2004, where I have grown as a person and have learned so many things under the supervision of Noel. I am now the VPA at Orthopedic and Balance Therapy Specialists. I am very grateful that Arlan and Noel gave me the chance to work for them and grow as an employee. I got divorced in 2007 and met a wonderful man named Mike and have been happy ever since. I love to dance and have a collection of porcelain dolls I am very proud of. I like to go to seasonal festivals and flea markets. As I get older, I value the time I have with my family. As I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason and you never know what will happen.
