Most people take 3 common approaches when it comes to their health.
The first approach is the worst…
They IGNORE it.
One of the most common ways people ignore it is by blaming their age. We hear this common phrase…”my back (or insert any other body part here) is not the same, it’s because I’m old and parts wear out”.
The thing with ignoring is it does not make us take proactive steps in taking care of our health. We just accept things the way they are.
The second approach is the most popular approach…but not a good approach.
We PATCH our issues.
We take pain killers, use braces, topical creams, get pain shots, use a TENS unit and so on. The worst way to patch I have seen is sufferers give up on the things they love to do…particularly if those things aggravate their symptoms.
That’s how people get sedentary. They get weak. And it starts a vicious downward spiral.
The 3rd approach is the best approach.
We HANDLE the issue. We “LOVE” our health. We “LOVE” ourselves.
We get proactive with our problems.
We seek out the true cause.
We seek out the best way to treat it…not just patch it. But solve it.
We work on getting ourselves to move better. We work on getting stronger. We work on eating better.
